Children beading kits

Perler beads, also called Hama beads (in Japan) or melty beads, are small, plastic beads.

You arrange them on a special pegboard to form a design.

Then, using an iron and wax paper, you melt the beads together.

When they cool off, you have a solid piece of plastic in your design.

Bead embroidery is a type of beadwork that uses a needle and thread to stitch beads to a surface of fabric, suede, or leather.

Woven, knitted, and crocheted beads may be attached during fabric production, whereas embroidered beads are always added upon finished fabric.
