DMC started more than 250 years ago in 1746 being the very first to manufacturer hand painted Indian fabric prints in Europe. The company was originally run by two brothers Jean-Henri and Jean DOLLFUS.
Today DMC are one of the leading organisations manufacturing consumer threads, industrial thread and textile related products. Their commitment to quality and creativity remains as strong now as it was in the 18th century.
The Dollfus family's early motto remains alive today:
